Students Shine at the ISP Language Competition

26-06-2025

Language unlocks connection, culture and creativity—and our students are proving just how powerful their voices can be.

We’re proud to celebrate the incredible achievements of our learners in the recent ISP Language Competition. From Mandarin to Malay, students embraced the challenge, showcased their language skills and brought their unique perspectives to life through speech, storytelling and expression.

In Mandarin as a Foreign Language, Beverly, Year 6 earned First Runner-Up, impressing judges with her clarity and confidence.

In Mandarin as a First Language, our students dominated the top spots:

Chen Xi, Year 4 and Lucya, Year 5  both achieved Second Runner-Up with expressive, thoughtful entries.
Kimberly (6T) emerged as the Champion, leading with authenticity and poise.
In Malay as a Foreign Language, we celebrate:

Lee Jea, Year 4 and Aarienya, Year 5, both Second Runners-Up, who brought rhythm and meaning to every word.
For Malay as a First Language, our students continued to impress:

Zidane, Year 3 earned First Runner-Up, demonstrating strong narrative skills.
Dhuha , year 6  was named Champion, delivering an inspiring performance that reflected depth and confidence.
These outcomes reflect more than just language ability—they reveal perseverance, courage and the joy of learning. Each student stepped up, expressed themselves and connected across cultures.

We celebrate every participant who took part in this enriching journey. Your commitment to growth and your willingness to lead with your voice embody the values we hold dear.

To our young linguists—keep questioning, keep creating, and keep communicating. Your words matter.
