Martin has been a teacher and school leader for over 20 years, and across 3 continents. He holds a BA in English and Philosophy, and MA in Education leadership and 3 other postgraduate awards, he is currently pursuing his Doctorate in Education Leadership.
Martin has shared passions for the integration of emerging technology into education, and the incredible importance Education for Sustainable Development, both of which he strives to share with the young people under his care at Tenby International School Setia EcoHIll. Under his leadership, the school has flourished, achieving remarkable milestones and cultivating an environment of shared ideas and responsibilities.
As a principal, Martin is committed to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student is encouraged to reach their full potential. He firmly believes if we focus on academic excellence, personal growth, and fostering a love for learning, together we can inspire our students to reach their full potential, and build a strong, supportive community around them.
With an extensive 18-year background in education, Tracy became the Head of Primary and Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead at Tenby International School Setia EcoHill in August 2024. As a dedicated educator, she emphasises the importance of not only teaching content and curriculum but also nurturing the overall development of the child – academically, socially, and emotionally.
Tracy’s educational journey has encompassed diverse roles across Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Vietnam, and the UK, spanning from classroom teaching at primary and secondary levels to curriculum coordination, Primary Principal, and Head of Whole School Teaching and Learning.
She holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Psychology from The Open University, United Kingdom, and a Master's in Education with Distinction from The University of Nottingham, United Kingdom, Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCEI) with Distinction from The University of Nottingham, United Kingdom and Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from British Council Colombo, Sri Lanka.
In her leisure time, Tracy cherishes moments spent with family and friends. On weekends, she indulges in long walks and reading, especially enjoying extended hikes followed by immersing herself in a good book.
Michael McDonnagh is an accomplished international school leader with over 20 years of experience in education, specialising in pastoral care, safeguarding, and strategic school development. Previously serving as Head of Pastoral, Designated Safeguarding Lead, and Head of Boarding, he has been instrumental in establishing and expanding two British international schools.
A safeguarding specialist trained to Level 3, Michael is deeply committed to student welfare and wellbeing. He has led the implementation of robust safeguarding policies, chaired regular safeguarding meetings, and ensured compliance with international best practices.
Currently undertaking the National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH), Michael is driven by a student-centred ethos and a passion for creating safe, inclusive, and high-performing school communities.
Sonia Sheppard

Sonia believes children are motivated to learn when they have opportunities to make choices in an enriching and stimulating environment. This philosophy drives the creation of learning environments that inspire curiosity and foster a deep love for learning.
Qualifying with a BA(Hons) in Primary Education in the UK, Sonia has taught in various schools across the UK and Internationally, specialising in Early Childhood education. Dedicated to the growth, development, and well-being of every child led Sonia into Special Educational Needs Coordination. In 2016 she completed her Post Grad Certificate in Special Educational and Disability Coordination and became the SENDCo for a Federation of Schools in the UK. She has held roles such as Head of Early Years and Key Stage 1, SENDCo, and Assistant Head of Primary with responsibility for Teaching, Learning, and Assessment.
Sonia is married with three children, loves to travel and explore the outdoors, and is a Forest School Leader. She enjoys singing, writing songs and creating activity books to support children with phonics acquisition.
