Tenby Health Week 2026: a week of learning, movement and wellbeing

02-02-2026

Tenby International School Setia EcoHill came together for Tenby Health Week 2026, a meaningful week of activities that helped students and staff build healthier habits.

Studenta and staff grow in awareness and make more informed choices about wellbeing. Across the week, the campus was filled with positive energy as the community took part in experiences that supported physical health, mental wellbeing and everyday self-care. Each activity gave students opportunities to learn in practical ways and connect healthy choices to daily life.

Students explored the importance of oral health through dental talks and check-ups, helping them understand how good habits support long-term wellbeing. Dengue awareness and nutrition talks for Years 2 to 4 gave younger students age-appropriate knowledge they could apply in real life, while the Eat Healthy Challenge for Years 4 to 6 made healthy choices active, engaging and memorable.

For older students, Health Week also created space for deeper reflection and discussion. A Mental Health Talk for Years 7 and 8 encouraged open conversations and greater emotional awareness, helping students understand that wellbeing includes both body and mind. Secondary students also joined staff in an energetic Zumba session, turning movement into a shared experience that built connection as well as healthy habits.

Alongside these student activities, the school community also took part in important preventive health initiatives. Vision screenings for staff and secondary students helped identify early signs of short-sightedness, while influenza vaccinations and basic health screenings reinforced the importance of prevention, awareness and self-care.

At Tenby SEH, learning goes beyond the classroom. Health Week reflects how students grow through real experiences that build knowledge, confidence and responsibility. By connecting wellbeing to everyday choices, students learn how to care for themselves and others in ways that will stay with them for life.

A heartfelt thank you goes to all partners, staff and students who made the week possible. Together, they helped create a healthier, more informed and more connected school community.
This is what wellbeing looks like at Tenby SEH – active, thoughtful and rooted in everyday learning.
