The Tenby Schools Setia Eco Park community came together for a meaningful and engaging Health & Safety Awareness Day, spending the day learning practical life skills, prioritising wellbeing and strengthening community connections.Designed for students, parents and staff, the event combined health education with interactive activities, encouraging families to take a proactive approach to their health while enjoying a fun day on campus.Promoting Health and WellbeingThroughout the day, families visited a variety of health and wellness booths offering complimentary services and professional advice. These included basic health screenings, eye checks, spine assessments, dental consultations and breast health awareness. The event was made possible through the support of valued community partners, including Top Vision, Spineworks, Diamond Dental Setia Alam, Kea Smiles, Columbia Asia Hospital Klang, Yogood and BCWA, who generously shared their expertise with attendees.A blood donation drive also took place, giving members of the community the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution that could help save lives.Learning Skills That MatterBeyond health screenings, the event focused on equipping families with practical knowledge that could make a real difference in everyday life.Parents and students participated in CPR and AED training, learning essential emergency response skills and gaining greater confidence in how to act during critical situations. One of the highlights of the day was a live firefighting demonstration by Pasukan Bomba dan Penyelamat Sukarela Hulu Langat. Families watched firefighters demonstrate emergency response techniques before children had the chance to explore the fire engine, enjoy fire truck rides and cool off with an exciting water play session that quickly became a favourite among our younger visitors.
