A Weekend of Creativity and Connection at Our Family Playdate

A morning packed with creativity, laughter and hands-on activities brought families together for a memorable Weekend Family Playdate.

13-06-2026

There is something special about spending quality time together as a family—and our Weekend Family Playdate was the perfect opportunity to do just that.

Tenby Schools Setia Eco Park welcomed families from our school and the wider community for a vibrant morning filled with creativity, discovery and shared experiences. Designed to bring people together, the event offered a variety of hands-on workshops where children and parents could learn, create and enjoy quality time alongside one another.

From decorating delicious cupcakes and crafting beautiful terrariums to creating handmade soaps, arranging flowers, exploring sensory play and enjoying freshly brewed coffee, each workshop offered something unique for families to experience together. Children eagerly moved from one activity to the next, proudly showcasing their creations and embracing every opportunity to learn through play.

The event also gave families the chance to connect with one another, meet members of our school community and experience the warm, welcoming environment that makes Tenby Schools Setia Eco Park such a special place to learn and grow.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our wonderful workshop partners—Beautifood, Soap Faculty, House of Terrarium, Gula Cakery, Luho Coffee + Flowers and Oiyo—for sharing their expertise and helping create such memorable experiences for our families. We are equally grateful to everyone who attended and to our dedicated Tenby team for making the event such a wonderful success.

At Tenby Schools Setia Eco Park, we believe that learning extends beyond the classroom, and that strong school communities are built through shared experiences. Our Weekend Family Playdate was a joyful reminder of the power of creativity, connection and spending quality time together, and we look forward to welcoming even more families to our future community events.
