Christmas Magic Arrives Early

07-11-2025

A festive day of fun, creativity, and holiday cheer as students, parents, and staff brought Whoville to life with colourful booths, performances, and visits from the Grinch and Santa!

The Christmas spirit took over Tenby Schools Setia Eco Park in the most whimsical way as our campus transformed into Whoville for this year’s “Grinchmas in Whoville” Christmas Bazaar. Laughter, colour, music, and the festive buzz of our community filled every corner — it truly felt like stepping into a holiday storybook.

The bazaar kicked off with rows of lively booths run by students, parents, and external vendors. From handmade crafts and sweet treats to games and festive goodies, each booth had its own personality — and many teams went all out with bright, funny, and wonderfully creative Whoville-style decorations. Everywhere you looked, there was something to smile at.

And then came the stars of the day.

To the delight of our students, the Grinch made a mischievous appearance — brought to life perfectly by Mr Daniel, our Deputy Head of International Primary. Right beside him was Santa Claus, played cheerfully by none other than our Campus Principal, Mr Ison. The duo made their rounds with jokes, poses, and their secret bag of goodies.

To make sure everyone got a fair chance to enjoy the bazaar, students from both National and International Curriculums visited class by class. Little groups moved happily from booth to booth, trying games, buying treats, and proudly supporting their friends. And with the campus filled with Christmas-themed outfits — reindeer, elves, Santas, snowflakes, and everything in between — the whole place looked like Whoville come to life.

Over at the Pre-University Block, our talented students sang and danced, bringing life to the entire event. No parent or student could resist gathering around to enjoy each performance like a true community concert.

The booth decoration judging was a crowd favourite, with teams showing off creative setups filled with colour, sparkle, and Grinch-like charm. The effort and imagination put in by parents, students, and vendors were nothing short of impressive.

Of course, no Christmas celebration is complete without a little suspense — our lucky draws kept everyone on their toes! Thanks to generous contributions from parents and local businesses, winners walked away with exciting prizes, and the cheers that followed each announcement added to the joy of the day.

A huge shoutout goes to TSPA, our Tenby SEP Parent Association, who transformed the bazaar space with incredible Grinch-themed decorations. Their designs tied the whole event together, making it feel magical the moment you walked in.

“Grinchmas in Whoville” wasn’t just a Christmas event — it was a celebration of community, creativity, and joyful connection. Seeing students, parents, and staff come together, laugh together, and create memories together is what truly makes Tenby Schools Setia Eco Park so special.

Thank you to everyone who took part — and Merry Grinchmas to all!
