Young Musician Aariz Earns Malaysia Book of Records Recognition

From years of dedicated practice to a Malaysia Book of Records achievement, Aariz's musical journey is an inspiring example of passion, perseverance and excellence.

Tenby Schools Setia Eco Park is proud to celebrate another remarkable milestone as our Year 8 student, Aariz, has been recognised by the Malaysia Book of Records as the youngest person to complete the Yamaha Classical Guitar Grade 6 examination with Distinction.

This achievement marks an exciting moment for our school, as it is our third Malaysia Book of Records recognition, reflecting the diverse talents and exceptional accomplishments of our students both inside and outside the classroom.

To honour this outstanding achievement, a certificate presentation was held during our International Secondary assembly, where students and staff came together to celebrate Aariz's dedication, perseverance and passion for music.

Following the presentation, Aariz took to the stage for a special interview, sharing his journey as a young classical guitarist. He spoke about the importance of consistent practice, overcoming challenges and staying motivated while pursuing his passion.

The assembly concluded with a live performance by Aariz, who impressed the audience with a beautifully performed classical guitar piece. His confidence, technical skill and musical expression were met with enthusiastic applause, inspiring fellow students to pursue their own passions with determination and resilience.
