On 11–12 July 2025, more than 150 Secondary students from our Malaysian Curriculum came together for an experience they will never forget — the 30-Hour Famine, organised with World Vision Malaysia. For 30 hours, students gave up solid food and embraced the challenge under this year’s theme, “Enough.” The message was simple but powerful: there is enough in this world for everyone, but only if we learn to share, care, and take action. The weekend was packed with activities that brought this message to life. Speakers from World Vision Malaysia shared real stories of communities struggling with hunger and poverty. Students took part in educational games and group activities that opened their eyes to what life is like for children in less fortunate circumstances. What stood out most was the way students stepped up as leaders and participated with boundless energy and enthusiasm. They encouraged one another, worked as teams, and reflected deeply on what they were learning. Many discovered just how much strength and resilience they had — even on empty stomachs.
