This year's Young Musician Competition took place on Tuesday, 20th January 2026 for the Primary Division (Years 1-6) and Wednesday, 21st January 2026 for the Secondary Division (Years 7-10). The competition featured Piano, Strings, Vocal, Woodwind, and Ensemble performances across Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced categories.We honour our students by judging them according to their personal achievement and ability rather than using an overall winner rubric. Students are awarded Gold, Silver, and Bronze based on what they can achieve at their current stage of learning—celebrating progress, not perfection. This reflects our belief that every musical journey is unique. As we always remind our students:practice makes progress.
