As part of our Health Week initiative, our community had the opportunity to have their breast checks at Tenby International School Tropicana Aman, along with other initiatives such as dental talks, eye screening tests, and CPR demonstrations to educate our school community about mental, emotional, and physical health. This feels particularly poignant as we navigate the loss of Ms. Tharani to breast cancer. There are no easy words when a community experiences grief, but there is great value in making space for people to support one another, raise awareness and take steps to look after their health. As a school, we also understand the importance of early eye checks to ensure children have clear vision and can learn comfortably in class, as well as teaching them proper brushing techniques to keep their smiles bright. Drawing our health week to a close, we would like to remember our colleague with gratitude for the life she lived and the difference she made in TTA. Always keep in mind that healthy habits start at home and at school, together as one community.
