Anne Marie is a passionate and accomplished school leader with over two decades of international and UK experience. Her career spans leadership roles in China, the UAE, Malaysia, and the UK, where she has championed academic excellence, inclusive learning, and strong community engagement.
Before joining Tenby International School Tropicana Aman as Campus Principal in 2025, Anne Marie led the Primary division at Taylor’s International School Kuala Lumpur and The British School of Beijing. Her leadership has driven whole-school improvements, secured prestigious accreditations, and guided schools through periods of significant change.
Anne Marie is committed to building strong partnerships between home and school and believes in the power of curiosity, creativity, and positive relationships to inspire lifelong learning. Her vision for Tenby Tropicana Aman centres on student wellbeing, global mindedness, and fostering a school culture where every child thrives.
Darren is an experienced and globally minded school leader with a background in English Literature and Educational Leadership. He has held various senior roles in both international and UK schools, championing inclusive, student-centred environments that encourage academic excellence and personal growth.
Now serving as Head of Secondary at Tenby Tropicana Aman, Darren combines strong academic leadership with a passion for global exploration. His adventures—from trekking in the Himalayas to navigating Arctic landscapes—bring a rich perspective to his leadership style, promoting curiosity, cultural sensitivity, and critical thinking.
Darren believes in fostering a collaborative and supportive learning culture where every student is empowered to thrive. A lifelong learner himself, he is committed to inspiring young people to push boundaries, embrace diversity, and realise their full potential.
Christopher McEntee brings over 20 years of passionate educational leadership, having worked across both international and UK schools in South Korea, the UAE, and now Malaysia. Trained at the University of Brighton, Christopher has excelled as a teacher and Key Stage Leader, driving high academic performance. His dedication to student success was recognized by the UK Secretary of State for Education for outstanding Key Stage 2 SATS results.
Christopher holds a BSc Hons in Social Psychology and Postgraduate Certificates in Primary Education and Mathematics, alongside completing his NPQML at the University of London. With a proven ability to lead change and develop teachers, he served as Primary Mathematics Coordinator in a UK National Teaching Alliance school, where he delivered professional development to other schools.
Beyond the classroom, Christopher is an enthusiastic learner and adventurer, having travelled extensively with his family and completed the Camino de Santiago in Spain over 15 times. His commitment to both education and personal growth aligns perfectly with the values of our school community!
Megan is a dedicated and nurturing educator with a strong background in both pastoral care and academic leadership. With experience across the UK and international settings, she brings a well-rounded approach to primary education and student wellbeing.
Currently serving as Lower Key Stage Two Leader and Year 4 Teacher at Tenby Tropicana Aman, Megan has held roles as a Key Stage Leader, Primary Teacher, and EAL specialist. Her educational journey is supported by a unique academic foundation in Criminology and Forensic Psychology, which informs her understanding of behaviour, motivation, and child development.
Megan believes that every child has the potential to succeed, and her role as an educator is to build confidence, foster curiosity, and support each student’s individual learning journey. Passionate about travel and cultural exchange, she encourages her students to develop global awareness and a lifelong love of learning.
Jessita is a dynamic and committed school leader with a strong foundation in Early Years and Primary education. Her experience spans various leadership roles, including Assistant Head of Primary, Key Stage 1 Leader, and IPC Coordinator, where she has fostered inclusive, engaging, and student-centred learning environments.
With advanced qualifications in International Baccalaureate and Cambridge teaching frameworks, Jessita is passionate about developing creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration in her students. She values differentiation and is dedicated to creating classrooms where every child can thrive. As a leader, she is equally committed to ongoing growth - for herself and the staff she supports.
Outside the classroom, Jessita is an avid traveller who loves to explore on foot. A food lover and keen home cook, she also enjoys reading, and still finds joy in flipping through a good book, magazine, or newspaper - the classics never go out of style.
Alicia is an experienced and passionate language educator with over a decade of teaching experience in international schools. As Head of Modern Foreign Languages at Tenby Tropicana Aman, she specialises in teaching Mandarin from Early Years through to IGCSE, while also serving as the Year 11 Cover Form Tutor.
Alicia holds a First Class Honours Degree in Education and multiple certifications, including Microsoft Advanced Educator and CTCSOL. She is well-versed in IB PYP and MYP frameworks and has presented IB workshops and judged AIMS language competitions. Her leadership extends beyond the classroom - supporting international expeditions to China, Bali, Cambodia, Taiwan, and beyond.
Guided by a belief in self-expression and individuality, Alicia sees language as a bridge to global connection and endless possibilities. A certified diver and adventure-seeker, she embraces both the depths of the sea and the heights of new challenges - always with curiosity and confidence.
Rebekah, known to most as Becky, is a dedicated and energetic educator with a strong background in sport and fitness. As Head of Physical Education at Tenby Tropicana Aman, she teaches both Primary and Secondary PE, bringing enthusiasm, high standards, and a love for movement into every lesson.
Becky holds a BSc (Hons) in Sport and Exercise Science and a PGCE in Physical Education, along with certifications as a Level 2 fitness instructor, swimming teacher, trampoline coach, and netball umpire. She has been a qualified teacher for seven years, with five of those leading her department. Her early career as a lifeguard and swim instructor shaped her hands-on, resilient teaching style.
Becky believes in pushing boundaries and embracing challenges, inspiring students to give their best - even when things get tough. Beyond the sports field, she’s a passionate artist who enjoys oil painting, and an avid athlete who plays Gaelic football, Aussie Rules, and netball right here in Malaysia.

Laura is a passionate and energetic Physical Education teacher with a strong foundation in sports coaching and youth development. With experience across both the UK and Malaysia, she brings a dynamic and inclusive approach to PE and student wellbeing.
Laura holds a BSc and MSc in Sports Coaching from Northumbria University and has taught PE from Reception to Year 11. She previously served as Head of PE at Sayfol International School before joining Tenby Tropicana Aman in 2024, where she now also leads as KS3 Pastoral Lead.
Laura believes in creating engaging and enjoyable sports lessons that inspire lifelong participation in physical activity. Outside of school, she plays Flag Football and has proudly represented Malaysian teams in tournaments across Southeast Asia.
Claudine is a compassionate and experienced educator with over a decade of experience working with children in both international schools and social services. Her background as a social worker in the UK has deeply informed her holistic approach to student wellbeingand support.
With a strong commitment to creating safe, nurturing, and inclusive environments, Claudine has worked across a variety of educational settings globally. Her ability to connect with students and families on a personal level underpins her work, ensuring every child feels seen, heard, and supported throughout their learning journey.
Claudine believes that education goes beyond academics - it’s about building confidence, resilience, and empathy. Her passion lies in helping children thrive socially, emotionally, and academically through meaningful connections and purposeful guidance
