In our Year 5 and 6 EAL classes, students explored the differences between towns, villages and cities, learning about buildings, communities and green spaces. They applied their knowledge by creating and presenting their own town maps, using clear sentences to describe locations, building both confidence and communication skills.Meanwhile, Year 3 and 4 students focused on writing clear instructions. Using time connectives and imperative verbs, they practised sequencing steps through interactive activities before applying their skills in a milkshake-making lesson, bringing their learning to life while improving vocabulary and clarity in writing. If you’re looking for a school with a strong EAL programme, get in touch! We would be delighted to welcome your child and support them in building a strong English foundation to thrive in a global world.
