Tenby Eagles Soar to Success at FOBISIA Games 2026

The Tenby Eagles returned from the FOBISIA Games 2026 with an impressive 23 medals, showcasing exceptional teamwork, resilience and sporting excellence on the international stage.

The Tenby Eagles proudly represented Tenby Schools Setia Eco Park at the FOBISIA Games 2026 in Thailand, competing against some of the region's strongest young athletes in an unforgettable display of determination, teamwork and sportsmanship.

After days of exciting competition, our athletes returned home with an outstanding 23 medals—13 gold, 4 silver and 6 bronze—while securing an impressive third place overall. Their achievements reflected not only their athletic ability but also the dedication and perseverance they demonstrated throughout their training and the competition.

One of the unique aspects of the FOBISIA Games is that every student is encouraged to compete across multiple sporting disciplines. This challenged our athletes to step outside their comfort zones, adapt to different events and support one another throughout the competition. From athletics and swimming to football and basketball, every performance contributed to the team's success.

Several of our athletes also delivered record-breaking performances during the games. Aleah set new competition records in the Long Jump (4.66m), 300m (45.46s) and Triple Jump (9.20m), while Jiya established a new record in the Discus (25.12m). These remarkable achievements are a testament to the commitment and hard work our students have invested throughout the season.

Our swimmers also performed exceptionally well, bringing home two silver and one bronze medal, while both our girls' football and girls' basketball teams displayed outstanding teamwork and resilience to secure first place in their respective competitions.

Behind every medal was months of dedication, disciplined training and countless hours spent balancing sporting commitments with academic responsibilities. The resilience, determination and teamwork demonstrated by our athletes throughout their journey embody the values we strive to nurture at Tenby Schools Setia Eco Park.
