FOBISIA Student Leadership Conference 2026

Our student leaders returned from the FOBISIA Student Leadership Conference 2026 with fresh ideas, stronger leadership skills and new global perspectives.

Student leaders from Tenby Schools Setia Eco Park recently returned from the FOBISIA Student Leadership Conference 2026, bringing home fresh ideas, meaningful experiences and a renewed passion for leadership.

The annual conference brought together student leaders from FOBISIA member schools across Asia, providing a unique opportunity for participants to collaborate, exchange perspectives and explore what it means to lead with purpose in an ever-changing world.

Throughout the conference, our students immersed themselves in a wide range of interactive workshops, debates and collaborative activities designed to strengthen their communication, critical thinking and leadership skills. They were encouraged to challenge their perspectives, work alongside peers from different cultures and reflect on the qualities of effective leadership.

One of the highlights of the conference was hearing from inspiring keynote speakers, including Malaysian squash legend Nicole David and renowned adventurer Rob Lilwall. Through their personal stories of resilience, determination and leadership, our students gained valuable insights into overcoming challenges, embracing growth and making a positive impact on others.

Beyond the scheduled sessions, the conference also gave students the opportunity to build friendships with peers from schools across the region. Through conversations, group activities and shared experiences, they developed greater confidence, broadened their global perspectives and strengthened their appreciation for collaboration and cultural diversity.

Many of our students returned feeling inspired to apply what they had learnt within the Tenby community. Equipped with new ideas, practical leadership strategies and greater self-confidence, they are ready to make a meaningful contribution in their leadership roles and continue creating a positive impact both inside and outside the classroom.

At Tenby Schools Setia Eco Park, we believe that leadership is developed through authentic experiences that encourage students to step outside their comfort zones, embrace new challenges and learn alongside others.
