Little Champions Created At Sports Carnival 2025

06-12-2025

A joyful morning of movement and teamwork, where kindergarten children enjoyed fun activity stations, built confidence, and celebrated learning through play alongside families and teachers.

There was a special energy on campus as our little athletes made their way to the field. Over 60 bright-eyed kindergarteners, ages 5 to 6, arrived with their families, buzzing with excitement for a morning of running, jumping, cheering, and pure fun. The morning featured seven fun activity stations—target throwing, fun relay, robbing the nest, tagging games, throwing for distance, football shooting, and the ever-popular 20-metre dash—all thoughtfully planned to ensure every child could move, play, and shine in their own way.

Students were placed into five colourful teams, and it was amazing to watch how quickly they bonded. They listened closely to instructions, sprinted off with big smiles, and cheered for their teammates as if they had known each other for years. Many made new friends along the way, and the joy on their faces each time they completed a challenge was the perfect reminder of why these experiences matter so much in the Early Years.

Parents added to the warmth of the day too. As they watched from the sidelines, they shared conversations, swapped stories, and chatted with our friendly teachers. And just when the children thought the fun was over, the parents jumped in for a final round of the 20-metre dash—much to the children’s delight. Cheers and laughter filled the field as mums and dads raced side by side, creating a heartwarming moment that brought everyone even closer together.

We are incredibly grateful to our PE team, our Early Years teachers, and our wonderful Student Sports Leaders for guiding the children with patience, enthusiasm, and care. Their presence helped every child feel safe, confident, and excited to participate.

And a big thank you to Think & Thrive Educare for partnering with us to make the day a memorable one for the little athletes.

It was a day filled with sunshine, smiles, and small but mighty victories. Seeing the children leave the field proud of themselves is the magic we cherish at Tenby Schools Setia Eco Park. More adventures await, and we can’t wait to celebrate them together with the community.
