September was a great month for robotics at Tenby Schools Setia Eco Gardens, with our students achieving impressive results at two robotics competitions in Johor Bahru! 2nd Place – STEMBridge Robotic Competition i-Rice 2026 Congratulations to Eddy (Year 8), Yong (Year 7) and Zavyer (Year 7) for securing 2nd place out of 13 teams at Sutera Mall, Johor Bahru! What's particularly impressive is that the boys only started learning robotics in August! Just a month later, they were competing in the Line-Tracing and Pick-and-Drop Challenges, putting their newly acquired skills to the test against other teams. 4th Place – Smart City Robot Soccer Challenge 2026 Well done to Aghilen , Nadesh and Suhayl (Year 9) for finishing 4th out of 35 teams at Toppen Shopping Centre! Held in conjunction with the Johor Smart City Forum 2026, the competition also gave our students the chance to explore advanced technologies showcased at the event and experience a flight simulator. At Tenby Schools Setia Eco Gardens, opportunities like these are an important part of our approach to STEM education. Students get to apply what they've learnt in coding, robotics and technology, test their ideas in competitive settings and gain experience working as a team. A big congratulations to all six students and thank you to the teachers and parents who supported them along the way!
