Investiture Ceremony at Tenby Schools Setia Eco Gardens Celebrates Student Leadership Across National and International Schools

22-04-2026

Leadership was proudly celebrated across campus at Tenby Schools Setia Eco Gardens, Johor Bahru last week, as students from both our National and International schools took part in our annual Investiture Ceremonies. These meaningful occasions recognise students who have stepped forward to serve their peers, represent the school and make a positive difference within our community.
At Tenby SEG, leadership is not limited to titles. It is a skillset and mindset that can be nurtured in every learner. Through a wide range of student leadership opportunities, we encourage young people to discover their strengths, grow in confidence and develop the character needed to lead with purpose.
Students were formally appointed into a variety of important roles, including Student Council representatives, House Captains, School Prefects, Microsoft Showcase Student Ambassadors, Upstanders and Tenby Scholars. Each platform offers unique experiences and responsibilities.
Student Council members play an important role in championing student voice and providing valuable feedback that helps shape school life. House Captains and Prefects model responsibility, teamwork and school spirit, while Upstanders help create a caring and respectful environment by promoting kindness and positive choices.
Meanwhile, Microsoft Showcase Student Ambassadors support innovation and digital learning across campus, while Tenby Scholars proudly represent Tenby Schools Setia Eco Gardens beyond the school gates through events, outreach and wider opportunities.
These experiences allow students to build essential soft skills such as communication, collaboration, resilience, problem-solving and empathy — qualities that are increasingly important for success in higher education, careers and life.
At Tenby Schools Setia Eco Gardens, we believe every student has the potential to lead in their own way. Whether leading a team, supporting a friend, speaking up with ideas or setting the right example, leadership can be developed through meaningful opportunities and trusted responsibility.
We congratulate all students who accepted their new roles during this year’s Investiture Ceremonies. Your willingness to step forward, embrace responsibility and serve others helps create a stronger, more connected and more positive school community.
