For 88 of our International Primary students in Years 3–6, school looked a little different last weekend — because they stayed the night! Curious Camp 2026 brought students and teachers together for two days and one night on campus, with a programme designed around something we believe strongly in at Tenby Schools Setia Eco Gardens: children need opportunities to grow beyond academics too. From cooking and creative activities to team challenges, cultural experiences and acampfire, students were encouraged to try something new, work with different people and take on greater independence. These experiences connect closely with our Learner Profile. Students had opportunities to becurious, communicate, collaborate, show resilience and step outside their comfort zones — all while having a brilliant time with their friends and teachers. For some, even spending a night away from home was an achievement in itself. With 88 campers taking part and wonderful feedback following the weekend, Curious Camp was a lovely reminder that some of the most meaningful moments in school happen when children are given the space to experience, explore and discover what they are capable of. And judging by the smiles, they wouldn't have minded staying another night!
