Early Years Open Day | Every Thursday
Join us for the Rasa-Rasa Malaysia Cooking Workshop, a hands-on culinary experience celebrating some of Malaysia's most beloved dishes and drinks.
Throughout the morning, participants will learn how to prepare Nasi Lemak Bungkus Daun Pisang, including cooking fragrant coconut rice, preparing different types of sambal, making ayam rendang and mastering the traditional technique of wrapping nasi lemak using banana leaves.
The workshop will also feature Kuih Ketayap, a popular Malaysian kuih known for its soft pandan crepes and sweet coconut filling. Participants will learn how to prepare the batter, make the filling and perfect the rolling technique to create this timeless local favourite.
No Malaysian culinary experience would be complete without Teh Tarik. Discover the different types of tea leaves used in this beloved beverage, learn the signature "tarik" technique and pick up practical tips and tricks for achieving the perfect cup.
More than just a cooking class, Rasa-Rasa Malaysia is a celebration of Malaysia's rich food heritage. Participants will gain hands-on experience, practical cooking knowledge and a deeper appreciation for the traditions behind these well-loved recipes.
