Empowering Girls Through Menstruation Awareness at TTA

01-04-2025

At Tenby International School Tropicana Aman (TTA), we believe that open conversations create confident learners.

Our recent Menstruation Awareness Session for girls from Year 5 to Year 8 provided a safe, supportive space to learn about menstrual health, hygiene, and self-care.

The session combined fun games, interactive Q&A discussions, and practical demonstrations on how to correctly use sanitary pads. This hands-on approach helped students feel informed, reassured, and confident about their own health. To extend care beyond the classroom, every participant received a free set of sanitary pads.

This was more than just a talk - it was about breaking taboos, encouraging body positivity, and empowering young women to take charge of their well-being. By addressing menstrual health openly, we aim to nurture strong, self-assured individuals who can support themselves and others.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to our guest speakers from Bridget Lab, Sonobee, and Rainbow Girl Pad for making this session impactful, informative, and meaningful. Their expertise and encouragement left a lasting impression on our students.

At TTA, we are committed to equipping our learners with knowledge that empowers them forĀ
life, both inside and outside the classroom.
