A Proud Milestone for Tenby Schools Setia Eco Park - ISQM Silver Accreditation

Tenby Schools Setia Eco Park has achieved ISQM Silver Accreditation, with four areas rated Outstanding, including curriculum, student development, care and parent partnerships.

We’re proud to share some exciting news — Tenby International School has been awarded Silver Accreditation by the International Schools Quality Mark (ISQM), an internationally recognised accreditation provided by the Education Development Trust (EDT).

For us, this recognition is about much more than an accreditation. It reflects what happens across our school every day — students enjoying their learning, growing in confidence, feeling supported and making the most of the opportunities around them.

And we’re especially proud that four areas of our school were recognised as Outstanding.

What makes this recognition special?

ISQM is an independent accreditation process. Inspectors spend time experiencing school life first-hand — visiting lessons, speaking with students, parents and staff, and looking closely at areas such as teaching, student outcomes, safeguarding and leadership.

Here are some of the things they saw at Tenby.

Students who are confident and ready to get involved

Our students’ personal development was rated Outstanding, with inspectors highlighting their exemplary behaviour, positive attitudes towards learning and confidence.

They also recognised something we love seeing every day: students stepping forward, taking responsibility and embracing leadership opportunities both in school and within the wider community.

Learning that goes beyond the classroom

Our curriculum was also rated Outstanding.

It was recognised for being broad and balanced, while giving students opportunities to explore their interests through academic, creative and extracurricular experiences.

For us, that variety matters. School should be a place where students can discover what they enjoy, find new strengths and develop the confidence to try something different.

A school where students feel supported

Children learn best when they feel safe, valued and cared for.

That’s why we’re particularly proud that our care, wellbeing and safeguarding were recognised as Outstanding. Inspectors found strong systems supporting students academically and emotionally, with students feeling safe and supported at school.

Parents are part of the journey too

Education works best when school and home work together.

Our partnership with parents was rated Outstanding, with the report recognising that parents are well informed, actively involved in school life and supported through frequent, clear communication.

Strong outcomes, with more to come

The report also recognised the strong academic outcomes across our school, particularly in Secondary and Sixth Form, as well as the commitment and knowledge of our teachers and the clear direction provided by our school leadership.

Of course, being a great school also means never standing still.

As we celebrate this milestone, we’ll continue looking at how we can make learning even better — including providing greater challenge for high-achieving students, enhancing technology in Early Years and strengthening how we use data to support student progress.

Proud of how far we’ve come. Excited for what’s next.

Receiving ISQM Silver Accreditation is a wonderful recognition of our students, teachers, staff and families who make Tenby the community it is.

Most importantly, it reinforces what we want for every child who walks through our doors: a high-quality education where they can thrive academically, grow personally and become more confident along the way.
