We've cooked up something exciting at Tenby Schools Penang.Introducing the brand-new Cooking CCA in collaboration with Cezars Kitchen!Students will be mastering healthy meal prep, knife skills and safe kitchen practices, creativity in cooking and, most importantly, teamwork! Hands-on cooking programmes have been shown to improve food literacy (understanding of nutrition, labels, meal planning) and encourage better eating habits, (Am J Lifestyle Med, 2025). In Malaysia specifically, a culinary nutrition education intervention showed positive shifts in dietary habits up to 3 months later, (Choon Ming Ng, Kaur, S., Hui Chin Koo, & Mukhtar, F. (2024). This CCA is the perfect recipe for fun, learning, and real-world skills that will last a lifetime.
