Welcome to Tenby Schools Setia Eco Gardens.

I am proud to be the Head of Schools and I thank you for expressing an interest in joining our wonderful school. The School started as Tenby International School in January 2013, offering international programmes for Early Years, Primary and Secondary-aged students. In January 2015, we opened Sekolah Sri Tenby (SST), a Malaysian National Private School within our campus, offering a high quality National School programme. This gives parents a choice of curriculum when joining one of the largest groups of private international schools in South-East Asia, with seven campuses throughout Malaysia. Since January 2018, Tenby Schools is also part of the International Schools Partnership (ISP), a UK-based, rapidly-expanding British group of schools operating in a growing number of countries around the world. Here at Setia Eco Gardens we currently welcome students aged 4 to 17 who follow the International Primary Curriculum and UK National Curriculum that culminate in the IGCSE qualifications, or the Malaysian national curriculum up to the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examinations in Form 5 of the SST.

Our emphasis is on the holistic development of global citizens who have the skills and confidence to compete in a modern 21st century society. Our approach aims to balance strong academic and pastoral expectations that help students develop an international mindset. Students of all ages are also constantly encouraged to develop many other skills and attributes, such as empathy for others and a reflective, independent approach to life and learning. This is reflected in our student Learner Profile, as well as our definitions of high quality learning & teaching and international mindedness. All of these guiding principles are visible around the campus and available to take away upon request.

The faculty consists of a mixture of Malaysian and international teachers, giving students a range of national and global perspectives. We constantly seek to ensure that all our teaching staff are engaged in continuous professional development to remain up-to-date with the best practices in teaching and learning, whatever their background.

If you are looking for a modern, dynamic and rigorous school for your child, with amazing learning at the heart of everything we do, please arrange a visit to see for yourself what we can offer at Tenby Schools Setia Eco Gardens.

I very much look forward to discussing your child’s education with you.
