Stephanie Shaw is the Nursery Teacher at Tenby Schools, Setia Eco Gardens. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood and Elementary, as well as a Masters in Reading Education. Previously, she has taught in Abu Dhabi, UAE for 2 years teaching Grade 2 English. Before pursuing international teaching, Stephanie taught 12 years in America, mostly in Early Childhood classrooms. She enjoys the outdoors, travelling and the beach. Stephanie is very excited to learn the Malaysian culture and to see what Asia has to offer.
Lau Lee Ying, also known as Christine is the Nursery Assistant at Tenby Schools, Setia Eco Gardens. She holds a Bachelor of Malay Studies from University Malaya. She has 11 years experience working in Preschools in Kuala Lumpur and Johor Bahru. She has also worked as an Assistant Principal in one of the preschools. She is very excited and looking forward to a great school year.
Sharon Judhisthi started her teaching career in 2009. She graduated from the University Utara Malaysia with an Executive Diploma in Early Childhood and Preschool Education. She has completed Cambridge International Certificate in Teaching and Learning (CICTL). She has teaching experience in different pre-schools around Johor Bahru and joined Tenby Schools Setia Eco Gardens in May 2017 as a Reception Teacher. She has a great passion to work with the younger children and looks forward to contributing her skills and knowledge.
|Thupashini Bhaskaran is from Klang Selangor and studied for her Diploma in Child Psychology at UUM Sintok Kedah. Her career working with children began at the age of 19 in her local pre-school and between 2007 and 2009 she was responsible for running a kindergarten. Two years later she became a founding member of Austin Heights International School where she trained as an IPC teacher. She joined Tenby in 2012, where she is currently at Year 1 Form Teacher. She is passionate about teaching and learning and building community through education. Thupashini is a CIE trained teacher as she has completed Cambridge International Diploma and Certificate for Teaching and Learning (CIDTL/ CICTL).|
|Kogeelavani Subramaniam is a Year 3 Teacher at Tenby Schools, Setia Eco Gardens. She graduated from Management and Science University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education (TESL). Ms Kogee has been teaching for 4 years and has experience of working in government schools at both Primary and Secondary levels. She has worked in private schools before joining Tenby in 2017 and has held other positions, such as Exams Coordinator for English.|
|Faridah Hamzah is a Reception teacher at Tenby Schools, Setia eco Gardens. She graduated from the University of London with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. She has pursued her passion in teaching young learners and was appointed as teacher and Principal for 17 years in local and International pre-schools.|
|Robin Guillemette is a Reception teacher at Tenby Schools, Setia Eco Gardens. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education – Childhood Education with a TESOL certification from Canada. Ms Robin has taught in the International school system in Thailand and China with her husband for 10 years, and has taught early learners from a wide range of countries and backgrounds thus has been exposed to a variety of teaching styles and curricula. Ms Robin has a real passion for the arts and is a professional voice actor and audio engineer voicing many T.V. and commercial projects throughout Canada and Asia. In her spare time Ms Robin also enjoys music, fitness and photography. Having lived in South-East Asia for many years she has grown to appreciate new cultures and enjoys the challenge of exploring and learning new languages. Ms Robin is looking forward to exploring Malaysia’s unique culture and adding a new chapter to her Asian experience.|
|Ainnie Radzwein Ahmad is a Year 2 teacher and the Milepost 1 Leader at Tenby International Primary School. She graduated from the University of Missouri-Rolla, Missouri, with a BSc in Electrical Engineering. She then became a CIE trained teacher when she completed the Cambridge International Certificate for Teaching and Learning (CICTL) and later completed the Post-Graduate Certificate in Education (international) (PGCEi) from Queen’s University Belfast, UK. Ms Ainnie is very passionate about teaching and learning and believes that knowledge should be shared in a meaningful way. By adding a dash of flexibility, patience and creativity to her subject knowledge she aspires to deliver teaching and learning that is fun and engaging for her students. After all, what we learn in pleasure we never forget (Alfred Mercier).|
|Fatin Amirah Abdul Hadi is from Pahang and completed her Bachelor of Education in Teaching English as Second Language (TESL) from National University of Malaysia (UKM), Bangi in October 2017. She then started her official career as a Year 2 Teaching Assistant at Tenby Schools in March 2018, and became a Year 2 teacher in 2019. She is passionate about education and enthusiastic to share her skills and knowledge with her students.|
|Norashikin Ismail is a Year 6 teacher in Tenby School Setia Eco Garden. She graduated with a Bachelor of Sports Science from University Technology Mara and then completed her Post Graduate Certificate in Education (international) (PGCEi) from Queens University Belfast. She enjoys traveling and exploring different cultures. Ms Shikin is a CIE trained teacher as she has completed the Cambridge International Certificate for Teaching and Learning (CICTL). She has been with Tenby Schools since 2015.|
|Marinus Wilcocks is a primary school teacher from South-Africa. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree of Education in 2005, after which he started an international teaching career. Marinus has taught in the following countries over the last decade; England, United Arab Emirates, Qatar and now Malaysia. He has been with Tenby Schools since January 2016. Marinus loves to travel around the world and see new places and experience different cultures.|
|Thamaraii Gopalakrishnan also known as Tammy graduated with a Bachelors in English Education from Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman. She officially started her teaching career at Fairview International School and worked there for 2 years before joining Tenby Schools SEG in 2017. Ms Tammy takes pride and dignity in the nobility of teaching as a profession and enjoys teaching Primary.|
|Daphne Tablizo is teaching Year 3 at Tenby Schools Setia Eco Gardens. She graduated with a degree in Business Administration and took up a post-graduate course in Education with units in Special Education and Early Childhood. She has taught 3 years in preschool and 6 years in primary in two International schools in the Philippines. Daphne is a CIE trained teacher; she completed her Cambridge International Certificate in Teaching and Learning (CICTL) and passed her Module II with Distinction. She is currently the Milepost 2 Leader in Primary.|
|Kishanni Suresh Kumar is a Year 3 Teacher. She obtained her Bachelor of Education with Honours in Teaching English as a Second Language from the University of Selangor. She worked in a private school teaching English and Malay for both Primary and Secondary levels for 4 years before joining Tenby Schools in August 2018.|
|Vanessa William John hails from the historic city of Melaka and holds a Bachelor of Education (Honours) Degree as well as a Diploma in Early Childhood Education from the University of Tun Abdul Razak. Education, nurturing and working with young children has always been her passion, having previously worked with preschools and another International school, which enabled her to gain invaluable experience with pedagogical strategies including the IB program. She also obtained the “Sijil Kursus Asuhan Dan Didikan Awal Kanak-Kanak PERMATA”,issued by the Ministry Of Women, Family and Community Development Malaysia. In her spare time, she has choreographed dances of various cultural denominations for several schools and associations, including National Champion of the Ribena Children’s Theatre Competition in 2005. She believes in playing an active role in educating young minds to grow up as responsible, global citizens.|
|Ushadevi Nair Velaidan is a Year 5 teacher. She graduated from the University Selangor (UNISEL), with Bachelor of Education (Hons) TESL and has been teaching since 2012. Ms Ushadevi began her career as an English lecturer in a private college and continued her teaching career in a private school teaching national and international curriculum for both Primary and Secondary students. Ms Ushadevi joined Tenby Schools SEG in September 2017.|
|Shefieniza Lazim is the Year 4 teacher at Tenby Schools Setia Eco Gardens. She graduated from University Malaysia Sabah (UMS) with a BA in Social Science (History). She has 5 years kindergarten experience. She joined the Tenby group in 2013 and attended IPC training at Hollandse School Singapore and is currently completed a Postgraduate in Diploma of Education (PGDE) from the UNITAR International University.|
|Nur Ameera Md Shab graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor in Administrative Science from University Teknologi Mara, Melaka Campus, and started her teaching career in 2014. Her first teaching position was at a language centre in Batu Pahat, and then moved to Johor Bahru to work as an English teacher at Matahari International School for three years. Ms Ameera then joined Tenby Schools Setia Eco Garden in August 2018 to broaden her teaching horizons, as she always wants to improve and become a better teacher. Ms Ameera is now the Year 4T class teacher and looks forward to enjoy every single moment with her students.|
|Lidati Salwana joined Tenby Schools Setia Eco Garden in June 2016. She graduated from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) Penang with a Bachelor of Science (Chemistry) in 2008. Her first school was SMKA Bandar Penawar where Ms Lidati taught Chemistry and Mathematics for Secondary students. In 2010, Ms Lidati joined Sri Utama School and worked there for 6 years. After 7 years in education, she is familiar with the International and National Curriculum programmes. Ms Lidati has completed her Trainee Teacher Programme Course with Wilkes University, USA and completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) from the UNITAR International University. Ms Lidati’s passion is teaching and educating young people.|
|Shabena Begum is a Year 5 teacher and Milepost 3 Leader as well as the Literacy Coordinator at Tenby International Primary School. She graduated from Goldsmiths University, London, with a BSc in Psychology, and then went onto completing her Post-Graduate Certificate in Education at the Institute of Education, London. Having initially worked in the UK, Ms Shabena moved overseas and worked in the Middle East for 2 years, before returning to the UK. She has been with Tenby Schools since August 2014.|
|Nurul Amalina binti Ramli is originally from Johor Bahru, and is married with a daughter. She is passionate about teaching English and creating teaching strategies since completing her Diploma in Education TESL at Management & Science University in 2015. She completed her degree at the University of Wolverhampton, UK with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Education Studies in 2018. She has experience from the UK and Malaysia from Primary to Tertiary level. She is looking forward to the learning opportunities with her students. In her spare time, she loves to spend time with her family. She used to be a backpacker and has travelled to a lot of places, such as the Middle East, throughout South East Asia and Europe, as she enjoys exploring others culture all over the world.|
|Michelle Fong is teaching the new National Curriculum of England: Computing Programmes of Study which replaces the current ICT subject. She graduated from University Technology of Malaysia with a BSc in Computer Science. She worked with a local cargo company as a system developer for three years. Then she furthered her studies atUniversity of Greenwich in London completing the MSc in Information Technology and e-Commerce. After graduating she continued her stay in London for a further ten years working as a programmer with a mobile technology company, IT consultant for NHS and BBC. Returning to her home country in 2014, she joined Tenby as apart time Mandarin teacher then becoming afull time teacher in 2015. Now the new national curriculum for computing provides schools with an exciting opportunity to reinvigorate teaching and learning in this important area of the curriculum. She is more than happy to be the coordinator of this new subject and show the children their way to learn about how computers and computer systems work; design and build programs, develop the young learners’ ideas using technology and create a range of content. Michelle also had completed her Cambridge International Certificate in Teaching and Learning (CICTL) and Postgraduate Certificate in Education (international) (PGCEi) from University of Nottingham, UK.
|Nor Azlin Nor Rahman graduated from University Malaya with a Bachelor Degree in Science and Environmental Management. Since qualifying in 2010, Ms Azlin initially worked in a government school in Segamat, Johor as a contract teacher until 2015. She joined the Tenby group in 2016 as a supply & Bahasa teacher for Year 7 and was appointed as a permanent teacher at Tenby Schools SEG in 2017. Currently, Ms Azlin is teaching Bahasa for Early Years and Primary up to the Secondary school, and ICT for Early Years. Ms Azlin also completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) from the UNITAR International University.|
|Ryan Chai is a Mandarin Teacher who graduated from Shanghai Normal University (China) with a Bachelor of Art (Chinese Language) degree. He began his career as a Mandarin Teacher in Kuala Lumpur. He teaches Mandarin as first and second language.|
|Seri Izzatie Binti Abd Azizs is a Nursery Assistant Teacher at Tenby Schools, Setia Eco Gardens, Johor. She graduated from Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka, UTeM with a Bachelor of Manufacturing Engineering with Honours (Engineering Materials). After graduating, Ms Seri worked as an English teacher at a rural secondary school in Pahang before taking maternity leave for two years. She then resumed her teaching career as one of the founding staff at Cherie Heart International School in Johor Bahru. In December 2012, Ms Seri began working at Tenby International School where she has worked in Early Years Foundation and is now undergoing her postgraduate diploma in International Primary training. Ms Seri is a CIE trained teacher as she has completed the Cambridge International Certificate for Teaching and Learning (CICTL).|
|Wan Nor Liyana Binti Wan Adnan is a Year 1 Assistant Teacher. She graduated from KPJ International College with a Diploma in Nursing and began her nursing career at KPJ Ampang Puteri Specialist Hospital in 2013, before joining Tenby Schools, Setia Eco Gardens a year later as a temporary nurse and then Early Years Assistant Teacher. Ms Liyana is passionate about working with this age group and plans to further her studies in the field. Ms Liyana is a CIE trained teacher as she has completed the Cambridge International Certificate for Teaching and Learning (CICTL).|
|Cassendra Lourdes is a Reception Teacher Assistant at Tenby Schools Setia Eco Gardens. She started teaching in 2011. She graduated from University Utara Malaysia with a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Certificate in Information Technology. She has held teaching in Montessori pre-school and Cherie Heart International pre-school.|
|Purani Smithaa is the Year 5 teacher at Tenby International School. She graduated from University of Hertfordshire, UK with a BA (Hons) Marketing and now pursuing Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching (PGDT). She worked in two different international schools teaching Mathematics, Economics and Entrepreneurship for both primary and secondary level. She has been with Tenby SEG since January 2017.|
|Farah Nadiah binti Farok who hails from Selangor, completed her studies with a Degree in Sports Science with Honours from the University Technology Mara. She used to work as Youth & Sports Officer at the National Sports Institute from 2015 before joining Tenby Schools in 2018. She is passionate about sports activities and enjoys any activities related to fitness.|
|Alicia See completed her M.Ed. Music Education, and B.A. Piano Performance at the University of Buffalo, The State University of New York. Additionally, she has gained certifications in Early Childhood Music (Level 1 & 2), General Music, and Piano from the Gordon Institute of Music Learning (GIML) Development Courses. Prior to Tenby Schools, Ms Alicia was lecturing part-time in Taylor's University. She also had several years of teaching experience in the United States, where she developed great interest in the early years & elementary level music. As she believes that every child has the potential to achieve in music, Ms Alicia constantly devotes herself to provide an inclusive as well as enjoyable learning environment for her students.|
