The Early Years is a crucial time in a young child's development because it is at this time that the foundation for all future learning is laid. Young learners need a programme that not only meets their academic needs, but their social, physical, emotional and cultural ones, as well. By providing pastoral and academic support for Early Years students, we hope to start your children on a path, which will ensure they are open to learning experiences throughout their lives.

Tenby Early Years teaches the International Primary Curriculum (IPC), which focuses on the development of the whole child, both inside and outside the classroom. Children learn through a fun and imaginative approach that includes a creative arts programme (Music, Art and Craft, Drama etc.) and physical education, as well as play activities, trips and outings.

Small class sizes ensure that every child receives personal attention, develops at his/her own pace and is guided towards reaching his/her full potential. Children are taught to communicate clearly, have good social behaviour and to be responsible for their actions. In a nurturing environment, in which children learn and play together, qualities such as being polite, honest, tolerant, fair and kind towards each other, are positively reinforced.

This is the essence of a Tenby education in which the vision of creating "A United World At Peace-Through Education" is taught, learned and lived out daily from a young age.  We seek to provide an atmosphere where children feel safe, work hard and enjoy the experience of learning, free from undue stress and anxiety.

Every day is an adventure waiting to be embarked on.  We look forward to welcoming your child to Tenby Early Years!
