Admissions and Fees Schedule


Admissions Procedures

To make it easier for parents, the complete admissions procedure is detailed below:


STEP 1: To submit the Application Form along with the required documention*, which are listed below.

*Please note that ALL documentation must be complete before we can proceed to process your child’s admission.


STEP 2: To pay RM300 non-refundable Application Fee.


STEP 3: To schedule a date for your child’s assessment.

Ages 3-4: An interactive session that will take approximately 30 minutes. The assessment would include getting to know your child, checking their understanding of a simple story that has been read to them, to do some simple drawing and colouring activities and assessing their ability to relate to another adult and/or other children.

Please note that the basic requirement of entry to Nursery & Reception is that children must be toilet trained.

Ages 5-7: A paper based assessment that tests a child’s verbal and non-verbal reasoning skills that will take approximately 1 - 2 hours. Click here for more information about this test.

Ages 8-13: A computerised assessment called the Cognitive Abilities Test 3 (CAT3) that is approximately 2 - 3 hours. Click here for more information about this test.


STEP 4: We will inform you on the outcome of the assessment within 2 working days.

If the assessment is successful, a Letter of Offer will be issued. You will then have 10 working days to accept or decline the offer.

If the assessment is unsuccessful, a Placement Declined letter will be issued.


STEP 5: To accept the offer, the non-refundable Registration Fee and One Term’s Deposit are required within the offer deadline.

Note

  • Fees do not include books and uniform, and if applicable, transportation, food, CCAs and educational visits.
  • Fees are invoiced 3 times a year and are payable before the commencement of every school term.
  • The school reserves the right to impose a late payment charge of 5% per annum on all outstanding fees which has not been paid by the 15th day of the commencement of the new school term.
  • Payments are to be made by cash or cheque payable to "TENBY SOUTHERN SDN BHD"
  • Application fees are payable prior to taking the Entrance Assessment and is non-refundable.
  • Registration Fees and Deposit are payable on issuance of Letter of Acceptance and Offer. Registration fees are non-refundable.
  • Deposit is to be topped up yearly according to student’s year of study.
  • Fees for 2013 are confirmed; thereafter school fees will be reviewed annually. Parents will be given one term’s notice of any changes to the fees.
