Tenby Kindergarten provides education and care for children from 4 to 6 years of age. We emphasize the method of ‘learn-through-playing’ where children will find the lesson lively, enjoyable, memorable and interesting.
The children have the opportunity to participate in PE, Computer, Art, Drama and Music classes each week. They are able to develop their knowledge and understanding of the world as they participate in activities related to different topics. In addition, the children will have the opportunity to explore, inquire and discover aspects related to Geography, History, Technology and Science. The activities on offer also help the children to develop an international mind-set alongside their awareness of their own nationality.
We also use materials and activities which ensure that your child is ready and prepared to join the Year One / Standard One class in both the international and Malaysian schools.
We place a very big emphasis on the child’s desire to learn and believe that their social and emotional development are very important. During all activities, this aspect of their development is encouraged and supported so that we create enthusiastic, motivated and excited learners. We believe that it is vital that they develop the right attitudes and dispositions to become lifelong learners.
