|
| Greeting Cards | cutting, pasting, pressing |
| Craft / Decoration | pasting, arranging, wrapping, pressing |
| Food and Nutrition | pouring, mixing, cutting, spreading, serving, washing |
Homeroom teachers / Form Teachers teach their classes. Teachers are also encouraged to work in teams, each specialising in an area, and cross teaching to each others’ classes.
The activities are conducted as part of the students’ Extra-Curricular Activities Programme for Lower Junior during the first period on Fridays.
The school provides the Tool Kit which consists of: an A4 document case, a pair of scissors, a cutter, a pencil, a ruler, an eraser and a palette. The Kit is on loan to the students for 2 years. At the first lesson and at all times, the usage of the equipment is taught and supervised by the teachers. There is a checklist in each Kit and should any items be missing or lost, they must be replaced by the students. The items can be bought from the Administration Office.
Materials are provided for the students throughout the year. But from time to time, students may be asked to bring recyclable items, for example, toilet / paper rolls, dried flowers, magazines etc. for their projects.
Students are evaluated in their work upon completion according to a set of assessment rubrics. The School values students’ effort and hard work in their projects. Students will be given the opportunity to exhibit their works at any appropriate event / function.
