Cambridge International A/AS Levels are accepted at grades A* – E as the same as UK A and AS Level on a subject-for-subject and grade-for-grade basis.

Cambridge International AS Level

The Cambridge International AS Level is offered as a qualification in its own right or as a stage on the way to Cambridge International A Level. Students can study Cambridge International AS Level alongside International A Level subjects to increase breadth in the curriculum or build further knowledge and understanding of other subjects they are studying at Cambridge International A Level.

Students can study Cambridge International AS Level alongside International A Level subjects to increase breadth in the curriculum or build further knowledge and understanding of other subjects they are studying at Cambridge International A Level.

Entry Requirements at Tenby Schools Ipoh:

  1. A minimum of 5 credits in the SPM / GCE “O” Level examinations including a credit in English and other related subjects to be taken or,
  2. A minimum of 4 credits (B grade) in the Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) or,
  3. Forecast results will be considered for the January intake. When official results are issued and the students’ performance falls short, he/she has to withdraw from the programme or enrol in a lower grade programme.
  4. If all of the above are not available, students will need to sit for an Assessment Test determined by the School.

  13. Literature in English

Course Duration and Examination

  • The duration of the course is 18 months or 1½ years.
  • Examinations are held in May/June and October/November each year.
