Provisional IGCSE results were released by Cambridge on the 10th of August 2017 and we wish to congratulate the success of all of our students who sat examinations in the May/June series! We are very pleased with a strong overall set of results and are thrilled that all the hard work by students and teachers has paid off. 

There are many results worth highlighting but we wished to share a selection that really deserve individual recognition.

Whole school results

80% of all results were between A* and C

37% of all results were either A* or A grades

20% of all results were A* 

100% of students entered also passed the ICE (International Certificate of Education) with 89% receiving Merit or Distinction. 

Exceptional Results by Subject

Mandarin Chinese: 100% pass rate at grade A*

Music: 100% pass rate at grade A

Malay: 81% of results were A or A* (100% A* to C)

French: 100% of results were A* to C

Mathematics: 95% of results were A* to C

Geography and English Literature: 93% of results were A* to C

Chemistry: 89% of results were A* to C 

Exceptional Individual Student Results

Sandilya Garimella - 6 A* and 4 A (Plus an A* in Maths in 2016

Nicholas Sim - 4 A*, 4 A and 2 B (Plus an A* in both Maths and Malay in 2016)

Mihnea Ionescu - 4 A*, 3 A, 1 B and 1 C (Plus an A* in Dutch in 2016)

Joshua Tan 1 A*, 5 A, 1 B and 1 C (Plus an A* in both Maths and Malay in 2016)

All year 10 students who sat an IGCSE examination excelled with grades of A or A*

All year 9 students who sat an IGCSE examination excelled with grades of A*

Hongyu Chok - A* in Mathematics – while in year 7!!
